Review free. Pay to keep the cut in the cloud.

Everything Shutter does to a frame is free, and your footage stays on your computer. Pro and Studio add cloud storage: clips play on any device, and the friends you send a review to can watch it without having the file.

Storage counts the running time of clips in the cloud, not file size. Delete a cloud clip and its minutes come back. Uploads up to 30 GB per clip.

Before you upgrade.

Does uploading change the privacy of my footage?

Only the clips you choose to upload leave your computer. They're stored with Cloudflare, play through links that expire after a few hours, and only you and friends you send the review to can open them. Everything else stays local, exactly as on Free.

What happens if I cancel?

You keep your reviews and notes. Clips already in the cloud stay playable, but you can't upload new ones until you're on a paid plan again. Delete cloud clips any time from the dashboard.

Which files can I upload?

MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, MXF and other common video containers. Cloudflare converts each upload so it plays in any browser. If it can't read a file, the dashboard tells you and the minutes aren't counted.
